Bivouac Camp

For true adventurers, Kabalebo Nature Hotel offers a one-of-a-kind jungle camp experience deep in the Amazon rainforest of Suriname. This is as authentic as it gets—you’ll sleep in hammocks or tents beneath the forest canopy, right on the riverbank, fully immersed in the sights and sounds of the jungle.

The Jungle Camp serves as the perfect base for daily expeditions into the untouched wilderness. Located just 15 minutes by boat from the Main Lodge, the camp accommodates up to 12 guests. While this is a back-to-nature experience, you won’t have to hunt for your meals—though you’ll certainly feel like an explorer. Meals can be enjoyed at the Main Lodge, delivered to camp, or even prepared on-site upon request.

To further enhance the expedition atmosphere, guests bathe in the river and use the surrounding jungle as a natural toilet facility. A knowledgeable Kabalebo jungle expert will accompany you throughout your stay, ensuring both safety and unforgettable insights into this remarkable environment.
